Stop by and talk about House Season 7 and the upcoming Season 8. I will be at the library to sign books, meet fans and answer questions about the show, characters, actors, and more.
Author Barbara Barnett will discuss the complex character of TV’s most popular doctor, Gregory House, M.D. as featured in her book, Chasing Zebras: The Unofficial Guide to House, M.D., at the Indian Trails Public Library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Rd., Wheeling, on Thursday, August 4, at 7 p.m.
Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) has been solving medical mysteries since November, 2004, when House, M.D. debuted on FOX-TV. Barnett, widely considered a leading House expert, takes fans deep into the heart of the show’s central character, examining the way his colleagues and patients reflect him and each other. She looks at the show’s mechanics, its music, settings, and humor to obtain a greater understanding of the program’s central message. She also reflects on what the show says about modern medicine, ethics, religion, and much more.
